A tiny bit about Tiny Bit Animation… I’m Mick Lawrence, a 2D Character Animator who goes through the world seeing faces and characters everywhere – in the creative, not the creepy way. Animation is my passion and I love the process of creation that brings imagination to life, whether it’s animating, keying, directing or designing characters.
Throughout the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with many amazing individuals at various fantastic animation studios in London, such as
Studio AKA and
Nexus, as well as virtually, in international freelance animation teams. I am always on the lookout for inspiring projects to contribute to, so if you are in need of a 2D Animator,
get in touch!
When I don’t animate for a living, I still animate and sketch but also cycle, play the guitar and cuddle with dogs, all while wearing shorts all year round (if you are familiar with the climate in the UK, you will appreciate this). At my alma mater,
Central Saint Martins, I also mentor budding animation students and get a lot of joy from watching them become masters of their craft.
And I did fall off a horse once, though not the one in the picture.
